WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
Sister's In Service (SIS)
Sisters in Service is a faith-filled women's ministry at YLBC committed to equipping, and encouraging women to serve God, one another, and their communities with love and purpose. Rooted in Christ and inspired by Christ’s example of service, our mission is to grow spiritually, support one another, and make a tangible impact through outreach, prayer, and purposeful action.
Whether you're seeking deeper connection, spiritual growth, or opportunities to serve, Sisters in Service is a welcoming place where every woman is seen, valued, and called to shine. Through Bible studies, mentorship, community service, and events that uplift and inspire, we walk together—strengthening each other as we live out our faith.
Encouragers
Join the Encouragers every third week of the month from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the YLBC Fellowship Hall. Our ladies come together for lunch, followed by a time of devotion, prayer, and uplifting encouragement. All ladies of any age are warmly invited to participate in this lovely gathering each month.

Fall Study
Does the Bible really tell us that our emotions are untrustworthy? God made us to feel our emotions, to examine and share them—not manage or suppress them. We can learn what it means to live emotionally-healthy lives from studying Jesus’ life and how He cared for and responded to the people around Him.
Join us for the Untangle Your Emotions Bible Study by Jennie Allen, as she helps you discover that emotions that are submitted to God and used for the purposes God intends connect us to each other and to Him.
This six-session study will equip you to:
Be encouraged through the examples of emotion in Scripture by God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Identify the unhealthy ways you might be coping with emotions. Learn a biblical step-by-step method to help you process, name, and notice what you are feeling.
Move from apathetic to articulate when it comes to sharing what you feel.
