Justin Curtis
Pastor
Justin has served as the pastor of Yellow Leaf Baptist Church since March of 2025. He and his wife, Bethany, have been married since 2013 and have three children: Hadley, Gracie, and Mallory.
Justin has served in pastoral ministry since 2014 while serving in church staff roles from 2008-2014. His education includes a Bachelor's degree from Blue Mountain College, and a Master of Divinity in Expository Preaching from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
Justin loves the outdoors, Ole Miss Athletics, and adventuring with his family.
Zack Barrett
Interim Minister of Youth
Zack serves as the interim youth minister at Yellow Leaf. He has served in this role since May of 2024. Zack works as an engineer with MDOT. He and his wife Tiffany are long time members of Yellow Leaf and have two sons: Walker and Finley.
Stephen Woodgate
Interim Music Director
Steve has been involved in church music for most of his life, beginning with singing in choirs during his junior high years. Over the years, he has led worship in a variety of church settings, bringing a heart for meaningful, Christ-centered worship to each congregation he serves. His approach blends scriptural depth with historical awareness, aiming to create worship experiences that are both spiritually rich and engaging.
Steve is passionate about incorporating diverse forms of artistic expression—whether through music, the written word, or visual media—to draw all members of the congregation into authentic praise of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He and his wife, Jan, love spending time together traveling and working on projects at their home.
